| This web page exists only to bring together all of
my various names over the years. One of the great things about the web is
that you can track down old friends. Unfortunately, I've had so many
nicknames and DJ names over the years that it would be very hard for
someone to find me unless they were to look for "Booray." So, I made this
page so that Google would have a listing of my names that link back to
Booray.net. Don't expect an interesting story here, just the facts. We'll start with California, where I moved when I was ten years old. Back then I was still Duane Perry, son of Tom Perry and Dawn Perry, brother to Duana Perry. We lived in San Jose, in between Vista Verde Elementary School and August Boeger Middle School. My sister went to Mt. Pleasant High School. We lived there around 1975, 1976, and 1977. We were square dancers in The Boot Swingers and my father was caller for The Keeway Swingers. My Dad worked for Measurex. In 1977 we moved to Monroe, LA. We lived on Martha Dr. I went to Jack Hayes Middle School, Ouachita Parish High School ( O.P.H.S. ) and Northeast Louisiana University ( NLU ). I was in a fraternity called Lambda Sigma Chi which later became Sigma Nu. I was still Duane Perry until I started in radio when I became Tommy Saint on FM 102. In 1985 we moved to Tampa Fl. I worked at Studebakers and The Ocean Club as well as WHBO 1040. I was Tom Daniels on WHBO. Most people called me Tommy Perry back then but while working at Ocean Club people started calling me Booray. In 1998 I moved to Dallas, TX and became just plain Booray Perry. I worked at Tijuana Yacht Club, Baja Beach Club, Studebakers, KVIL and ABC Radio Network. I was Tom Daniels on the radio for a while before finally changing to Booray. That about does it. Now, hopefully, it will be easier for old friends to track me down no matter what name I was using when they knew me. |
